     Welcome to the prosperous and growing  city of Gardendale, Alabama.  This is a city where parks, shady sidewalks, manicured lawns, churches, great schools, varied shopping opportunities, and caring people all merge to make community a word with true meaning for us. This is a place where family values help our citizens "live the good life" in our welcoming neighborhoods.  Located just eight miles north of Birmingham, Gardendale is both minutes away and miles  apart from the busy metropolis.  Our worst traffic problems occur every Sunday morning about 11 o'clock, when residents gather to worship in the many churches in our area.

      Gardendale is the type of community many people think disappeared years ago. However, those of us who live and do business here know that a life of southern friendliness and neighborly spirit does still exist.   That's the way we live everyday here in Gardendale, and we invite you to become a part of it.
