Meet
The City Council
City council
meetings are held at 6:00 p.m. on the first and third
Mondays of each month. Council meetings are held at City Hall, which is
located at the intersection of Fieldstown Road and Main Street.
Citizens are invited to attend. For additional information, contact

Gary
was elected to the City Council in 1996
and is currently serving his second term. He is married to the
former Jackie Cornelius of Gardendale. Jackie is a teacher at
Gardendale High School. They have two children: Craig Morris, who is
married to Angie Quick Morris of Gardendale. Craig and Angie have
two daughters, Mary Katherine and Laura Ashley, and they live in
Spanish Fort, Alabama. Gary and Jackie's daughter Paige Morris
Fitzgerald is married to Rob Fitzgerald. They have a daughter,
Elise Jacquelyn, and live in Gardendale.
Gary recently ended a 25-year career with Procter &
Gamble and is currently employed on a part-time basis as a
consultant and sales representative for several consumer based
companies.
Gary is chairman of the Public Safety Committee, member
of the Park and Recreation Committee, the
Education Committee and the Public Works Committee. He is a member of the Civitan Club and the
Chamber of Commerce. Gary and Jackie are members of First
Baptist Church of Gardendale. |
