G. William Noble Recreation Complex

The G. William Noble Recreation Complex is home to Gardendale's youth baseball and football programs.

It is located on the northern end of Moncrief Road, about one-quarter mile from U.S. Highway 31.  

It is named for Bill Noble, who served as Mayor of Gardendale from 1972 to 1996.

Park Place

Park Place, located in the Noble Recreation Complex, is a quaint building used for meetings, parties, 

and other small gatherings of up to about 25 people. It is equipped with a kitchen, rest rooms, 

seating, and tables. Please call 631-6580 for information on reserving Park Place.

Luman Harris Park

Gardendale Girls Softball

Lumas Harris Park, home of the girls softball programs, is named for Gardendale native 

and former Atlanta Braves manager Lumas Harris.  It is located on Pineywood Road, across 

from Pineywood Baptist Church, a quarter-mile south of Tarrant Road and one mile north

 of the intersection of U.S. Highway 31 and Pineywood Road at the city's southern boundary.

Moncrief Park

Located on Moncrief Road between the G. William Noble Recreation Complex and U.S. Highway 31

Moncrief Park features eight tennis courts, a walking track, nature trail, fenced-in Kiddie Park 

playground with modern play equipment, and a covered pavilion that can be reserved for birthday 

parties, reunions, etc. Please call 631-6580 for information on reserving the pavilion.

Mini Park

The Mini Park is a pine tree-shaded park with a slide, merry-go-round, wooden jungle gym, 

small basketball court, and picnic tables.  It is located on Keith Circle, just off Tarrant Road, 

about a quarter-mile east of U.S. Highway 31.

 

    

 

 

Memorial Park

Memorial Park, located on U.S. Highway 31 just north of the center of town,

 is dedicated to honor those who have served in the United States armed services.
